Community Service: ECAs

24 September 2015

We have had lots of clubs start this week and our students at BVIS have grabbed the opportunity to take part in many of the Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs).

  • Promoting Community Service
  • RAK club at BVIS

I was very happy to see 3 very special clubs.

I was very happy to see 3 very special clubs.

Ms. Holden’s ‘graffiti’ club has very kindly decided to help the community office by designing our very own community LOGO’s.

The 3 topics we have chosen for our community service programs are:

People Animal Environment
Community service people focus Community service animal focus Community service environment focus

I’m very excited to see what ideas and designs our students will make and look forward to using them in future newsletters and posts.

Another exciting club that started this week is the ‘RAK Club’ Random Acts of Kindness with Mr Clarke.

Random act of kindness club What a wonderful way for our students to show how they care for people in our community.

Another Club that shows how much we care is the ‘Sound of Light’ run this term by Ms. Hillier. Along with our year 9 community program, our students will be linking with Nguyen Dinh Chieu School for Blind Children in Hanoi.

Every child has a dream, together we want to help make their dreams come true.
