It was an opportunity for Year 11 to reflect on what they still need to do before May.
Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. It is taken in over 140 countries and in more than 5500 schools around the world. So, it is important for our students to maximise their efforts, as they will be competing with many students! Also, to get them thinking about their next steps, we have started to invite universities to come to BVIS. This week, the University of Westminster came to visit and next Tuesday it will be the turn of Goldsmith’s College. Both are UK universities.
On Friday morning, we had the pleasure of inviting the well-known charity Blue Dragon in to talk to all Secondary students about the work they do. It was also an opportunity for them to come and thank Saigon house for the 16 million VND raised during the Xmas market, which will be spent to buy personalised Tet gifts for the children supported by Blue Dragon. Next week, some of our students will be taking these presents when they go to visit Dragon House.
