Secondary House Basketball Competitions

19 February 2016

Over the last half term, many Secondary school students have been competing for their houses in the Basketball competitions.

  • BVIS house basketball 20160219 (3)
  • BVIS house basketball 20160219 (2)
  • BVIS-student-basketball 20160219 (1)

In the KS3 competitions, both Hanoi and Dalat started well by winning their games. This meant that in both the Year 7 competition and the Year 8 and 9 competition it came down to the final game to determine the winners. The Year 7 competition saw Dalat come out on top and be awarded the title of house champions. In Year 8 and 9, the match between Hanoi and Dalat was evenly matched, resulting in a draw. This meant the result was decided on total baskets scored and again first place went to Dalat. Dalat and Hanoi both performed well in the KS4 competition but it was Saigon that took first place. The overall winners of the competition were Dalat. Well done to all those that participated!
