Boys' Football Tournament

BVIS team won one and lost three games. We started quite well with the victory 4 – 3 in the match against OLYMPIA. Our players lost 4 -5 in the second game against UNIS. Our next two games against BIS and SPAS had the same fate like the second one, with the scores 0 -7 and 1 – 2 respectively. Although BVIS were not as successful as they might have liked in this football season, our boys have tried very hard and made their utmost effort. By the end of the season, some of them who were often shy at the beginning have become very strong throughout the games such as Nhan Vu 8B and Nam Khanh 7B.

The KS4 Football Tournament kicked off on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. BVIS won 7 – 0 in the first game against OLYMPIA. This victory shows promise! The team is very happy and looks forward to the next game against SPAS.

Girls' Football Tournament

The season has now finished for KS3 footballers and on Saturday the students participated in their final tournament. The girls’ team has shown improvements, as the season has gone on and has been narrowing the score line each game, making many games very close. To ensure more success next season, I encourage all the girls to play whenever they can, to practise in their spare time and to work on improving their skills. Well done to all the girls who have been part of the team this year and to Minh Chi (Year 9) who has been the team’s top goal scorer.
