Year 9 went to SaPa. Residential trips are very important as they are an opportunity for students to develop the skills they do not have the opportunity to build in classrooms, to acquire new knowledge and consolidate what are already very strong friendships.
Back at school, many Year 7 and 8 students have been rehearsing, ready for next week’s Key Stage 3 production. I hope many of you will be able to attend the show at 18:00 on Thursday April 7th.
Year 8 students have also worked with Graffiti artists producing some very impressive work. This technique is part of their curriculum, but it is wonderful for them to have the opportunity to work with spray and be shown how to improve their techniques by experts in this field.
Year 11 have also been very busy this week, taking their last mock exams in preparation for their IGCSEs. It is very important that they take on board the feedback and spend time in the holidays consolidating the work they have covered over the last two years. We look forward to seeing these results as this will give a very good indication of what will appear in their results’ envelopes in August.
