Two learners from BVIS Hanoi have received prestigious awards from Cambridge
International Examinations to acknowledge their outstanding performance in the June 2017 Cambridge examination series.
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards programme celebrates the success of learners taking Cambridge examinations in over 40 countries around the world. Cambridge places learners at the centre of their international education programmes and qualifications which are inspired by the best in educational thinking.
The following learners at BVIS Hanoi received ‘Top in the Country’ awards :
The Principal of BVIS Hanoi, Mr Mark Sayer, said that the awards recognised the talent, dedication and commitment of both learners and staff. He said: “I am immensely proud of all of our students who attained outstanding IGCSE and AS results in June. For two of our students to gain top in country awards is an extra bonus, and I am delighted for both of them. They are indeed a credit to themselves and to all of the excellent teaching staff here.”
Top performing learners received their Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards at the annual school certificate ceremony on November 23rd, held once again this year at the UK Ambassador’s Hanoi residence. CIE’s Senior Schools Development Manager, Melvyn Lim said: ‘It is extremely rewarding to congratulate Cambridge learners and teachers at BVIS Hanoi who have worked so hard to achieve tremendous success in Cambridge IGCSE and AS examinations. Learners from BVIS Hanoi have a bright future ahead of them, and I wish them every success in their future.’
