BVIS Hanoi's Team At KOTO Dream Ride 2018 A 55Km riding challenge in heavy rain and hearts full of love from BVIS staff

BVIS Hanoi and staff have had a meaningful weekend with 55Km ride challenge in order to support the annual fund raising event from KOTO foundation.

Last weekend 16 teachers from British Vietnamese International School, Hanoi took part in KOTO Dream Ride 2018, a 55km cycle-ride through Hanoi and its surrounding countryside to Co Loa Citadel and come back. It was a particularly difficult year with lots of rain and a challenging route, but our teachers were determined to enjoy the ride nonetheless. One staff member said “One morning of cycling in the rain is really nothing compared to what some people have to go through every day of their lives,” and this positive attitude summed up the mood of the day nicely. VND 28,480,000 was raised, which will all go towards training at-risk and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam.
