Secondary Weekly Update (18/11-22/11)

IGCSE 1

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all our parents and students for their wonderful wishes and gifts of fruit, flowers and cakes to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The good wishes we received from you all us feel very special and make us all want to do even more for our wonderful students.

On Wednesday, we welcomed our Year 11 parents for the A Level information evening. Choosing the right A Level subjects is so very important and so we put this evening on each year to help students and parents make the right, informed choice. Thank you to all who attended this and to all the teachers who gave up their time to discuss their subjects with the students.

On Thursday night, we had our annual IGCSE Certificate Presentation Evening. It was so lovely to be able to celebrate the achievements of last year’s Year 11 with their parents and teachers.

On Friday morning, we had a very special assembly to celebrate Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. This is an opportunity for all students to express their gratitude to their teachers. It also creates further understanding among teachers and students.

Events next week: November 25th – 29th

Wednesday 27th November:

  • Year 11 Parents Evening
  • KS4 Boys and Girls Basketball vs OLY at BVIS (Primary and Secondary)

I hope you all have a great weekend.
