Jason Crimi and Jeffrey Holbrook, two excellent artists from the Juilliard, will have a visit to BVIS Hanoi on May 28. This is an annual activity under the NAE - Juilliard strategic cooperation in developing performing arts curriculum.

Jason Crimi has served as Associate Principal Trombone of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra for nearly 12 years. In addition to the SPO, he has performed with the Bavarian Radio Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra (DC), Boston Symphony, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Singapore Symphony, Virginia Symphony and Macau Orchestra. He was formerly a frequent member of the Singco Rhythm Orchestra, an early jazz to WWII era jazz/swing group in the DC area.

Teaching is also a major part of his life. In Korea he has taught at Seoul National University, Chugye University for the Arts, Chungang University as an Adjunct Professor and is in high demand as a clinician. Jason attended the Master of Music program at the Juilliard School, and has degrees from the University of Maryland in Music Performance and Music Education.

Jeffrey Holbrook is the Associate Principal Trumpet of the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra in South Korea, a post he has held since 2006.  He joined the orchestra at the age of 22, just weeks after completing his Bachelor of Music degree at The Juilliard School. With the SPO, Jeffrey has had the opportunity to tour dozens of countries across Europe, Asia, and North America highlighted by a performance at BBC Proms in 2014, the first Korean orchestra to be invited to the festival. He can be heard on eleven albums with the Seoul Philharmonic featuring the works of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, and Mahler among others.

In addition to his duties with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Jeffrey is sought after as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest clinician across Korea. As an orchestral player, he has performed as a guest musician with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Malaysian Philharmonic, and the Macau Orchestra. Jeffrey maintains a full studio of students in Seoul and has conducted master classes in Japan, Thailand, and the United States.
