Secondary Weekly Update (05/10-09/10)

Sports week has been a huge success at BVIS this week with every student really putting maximum effort to represent their house teams. There have been some excellent displays of teamwork, sportsmanship and compassion for others playing, accompanied by some quality sporting competition. A big thank you to all the staff and students this week for really getting behind their houses. Results to follow!

I want to highlight the most dramatic match of Year 7

Year 7 sports day both hue and Dalat were fighting for the top spot within their bench ball competition. Both teams won more than 5 matches in the league stage. In the final, both teams had to play each other with the winning team being the side that won 3 games, first. The first game hue won quite convincingly. The second game Dalat won. Hue then pulled it back and won for a second time. At this stage, Hue needed just won more game to be the champions. However, Dalat won the next game, making it 2:2. The 5th and final game saw Dalat come through with a fantastic victory.

It was a tremendous way to finish the benchball competition for year 7. Both teams showed excellent passion, ambition and determination for their houses and all received house points for the respective houses.
