Kaye is from a small town in Australia just north of Melbourne. Since qualifying as a secondary school teacher of Humanities in 2001, Kaye taught in Australia and then the United Kingdom. She and her husband Dion, lived in England for 8 years and both of their children were born there. In 2014, they decided to move to an international school and relocated to the British School of Beijing, Shunyi, where she was Head of Humanities, Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay Coordinator. Kaye recently completed her Masters in-International Education from Kings College London.
Kaye is passionate about ensuring all subjects deliver an academically rigorous curriculum that also caters to the individual needs of each student. She believes that a classroom should be an environment where students are encouraged to develop their independent learning styles to support their personal learning journey to success.
As a family they love exploring new places wherever they are in the world. As a family they fell in love with Vietnam on holiday in 2015 and always wanted to return to live and work as it is such a culturally rich country. They are thrilled to be part of the BVIS Hanoi family.
