Paul graduated with a First Class Honours degree in English, and his interest in language, culture and communication led him to research EFL as a career.
He has been teaching in Hanoi since 2014, becoming so captivated by the landscape and culture of Vietnam that initial plans to move on to work in other countries have been paused for the moment. He has taught a very diverse range of learners over this time, enjoying the blend of creativity, connection and cultural sharing that teaching English can provide. He finds the curiosity and enthusiasm of Primary-aged children particularly inspiring to work with.
In his spare time he likes reading and cinema, exploring new places (especially by motorbike) playing guitar and writing songs with his band.
