John Potts

Year 5 Leader

Since completing his degree in Psychology, with a specialism in Developmental Psychology, John has pursued his enthusiasm of working with children by working as a Primary Teacher.

After training, and working as a KS2 teacher in London for three years, John began his international career by moving to South East Asia, working at prestigious British international schools in both Thailand and the Philippines.

He has a particular interest in teaching Science, and creative writing in Literacy.

In addition to his role of class teacher, John has held the positions of ECA Coordinator and Growth Mindset Coordinator. In his previous school setting, he was the head of swimming, and raised the team to the standard where they were able to compete in international competitions.
