Passionate about creativity and working with people, a career in Education became a natural choice for Alex, who is now an enthusiastic Art Teacher.Alex has worked with children and young people in a variety of settings including at a nursery, a Kids Camp and at Art Therapy clinics.Since leaving university, she has enjoyed working as a Teaching Assistant and as an Art Teacher in 4 schools in East London.Alex's paintings and sculptures have been displayed in a number of galleries in London and Loughborough, since she was at school.

Alex’s own experience of education became a major influence on her desire to build a career as a teacher.A strong sense of community was at the heart of both her secondary school and her university, which she believes is fundamental in developing both the academic and social skills to create well-rounded individuals.

At university, Alex specialised in Sculpture, which meant experimentation and thorough exploration of materials became central to her own art practice.

In her spare time, Alex loves to travel and explore new places. She enjoys finding new inspiration by visiting art galleries and making artwork.
