Alex’s own experience of education became a major influence on her desire to build a career as a teacher.A strong sense of community was at the heart of both her secondary school and her university, which she believes is fundamental in developing both the academic and social skills to create well-rounded individuals.
At university, Alex specialised in Sculpture, which meant experimentation and thorough exploration of materials became central to her own art practice.
In her spare time, Alex loves to travel and explore new places. She enjoys finding new inspiration by visiting art galleries and making artwork.
