Emma Goldie

Emma 2021

Head of Business Studies/Economics

  • BSc (Hons) Management with Marketing, University of Leeds, UK

  • PGCE (Teach First), Business and Computing, Sheffield Hallam University, UK

Since graduating in 2014, Emma trained as a Business and Computing teacher through the Teach First Leadership Development programme. Emma is passionate about working pastorally with students, particularly through her position of Deputy Head of Year 9 and 10. Emma has also recently benefitted from the opportunity of working as a Programme Manager Assistant at Google UK in which she was working on a summer STEM project.

BVIS is Emma’s first international teaching placement and she is incredibly excited to make a permanent move to Vietnam to experience the culture that it offers.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys singing, performing with a choir and cooking. She is also looking forward to travelling more extensively around Vietnam and the surrounding areas during the school holidays.
