Hannah Budd

Hannah Budd

Head of Art

·         BA Hons., Theatre Design, Nottingham Trent University, UK

·         PGCE, Secondary Design and Technology, Bedfordshire University, UK

Hannah is passionate about Art, Craft and Design, and began her career working in the theatre industry. Hannah worked freelance for a number of years following her graduation. This involved working with various companies, designing and making set costume and props.

Hannah then decided to retrain as a teacher, as she was really enjoying working with young people in theatres on collaborative projects. This lead her to work in a large Secondary school in Luton, where she taught Textiles and Catering and then became Deputy Head of the Faculty of Art and Design and Technology. After 2 years here she moved to another large Secondary school in Watford, where she became Head of Art and taught Graphic Design, Fine Art, Textiles and Media Studies.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys reading, sewing, listening to podcasts and travelling.
