Piers Roderick

Piers Roderick

Head of Humanities

  • BSc (with Honours) in Geography: Royal Holloway, University of London, UK
  • PGCE Secondary with Geography, Institute of Education, University College London, UK
  • MSc (Masters) in Educational Leadership, University of Leicester

For the past ten years, Piers has worked in schools inside and outside of London.  His school responsibilities have included Head of Department, Pastoral Leadership and Head of Extra-Curricular Activities.  Piers is a Test Constructor for one of the main Exam Boards in the UK, where he creates and reviews the assessment material for the GCSE Geography papers.  Piers is a qualified rugby and football coach and recently completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership.

Piers has a love of travelling and experiencing new cultures, believing it is important we push ourselves beyond our comfort zone.  He has a keen interest in playing and watching all sports, his favourites being football, rugby and tennis.

Piers and his family are looking forward to exploring Vietnam and its rich culture.
