After competing to a high level in rugby, football and tennis, Joshua has a vast amount of experience in taking part in competitive sport.
Joshua graduated from St Mary’s University College, where he studied BA (Hons) Physical & Sport Education. Joshua took his academic achievement and rugby ability to Australia, where he worked within a boarding school as a trainee PE teacher, whilst playing semi-professional rugby.
Joshua returned to the UK and enrolled on the PGCE (with QTS) Secondary Physical Education course at the University of Greenwich.
Joshua went on to teach in a South London School, taking on the role of PE teacher, as well as Head of Rugby and Head of Year. Joshua then went onto teach internationally as Director of Sport at Malvern College in Egypt, before joining us here. Joshua has full experience in teaching across all age groups and a clear understanding for teaching a vast range of topics within physical education.
Joshua enjoys playing, watching and learning new sports, most notably golf and is looking forward to playing in Vietnam. He enjoys coaching rugby outside of work commitments and will be looking to help the students of BVIS as well as those within the community.
