Faye worked in a variety of roles in forensic science, marine conservation and recreational scuba diving before training as a Science teacher. She has spent 5 years teaching in the UAE, actively promoting and participating in extra-curricular activities, such as netball and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, both domestic and international.
Faye is passionate about marine conservation and volunteering opportunities. She has volunteered on numerous projects including tidal research in Ireland, beach cleaning operations and marine mammal strandings in the UK.
