Let’s embrace the power of ‘nonsense’ and let it inspire us!
This week, we’ll explore how absurdity can spark creativity. Through movement, music, writing, and art, we’ll engage in activities that encourage us to let go, follow our intuition, and be silly — leading to unexpected and amazing creations, all while having a lot of fun!
We’ll look at Japanese Animé, French theatre, famous artists, animals, and quirky comedians. We’ll spend time both outdoors and indoors, exploring different environments and seeing how they inspire us. In addition to hands-on activities, we’ll watch videos, listen to music, and appreciate art.
All you need is curiosity and a willingness to dive into the absurd! By the end of the week, our adventures and playfulness may result in short performances combining action, poems and created instruments. If students wish, we’ll finish with an informal showcase of their favourite moments.
This camp is offered in English only.
