Study after study has demonstrated the cognitive benefits of learning another language, no matter how old you are. Memory improvement, longer attention span, and a reduced risk of age-related cognitive decline, are just a few of the known positive effects of speaking two or more languages.

In their French classes, students have been developing collaboration and communication skills through fun and engaging activities.

Grade 6 French students have been exploring the concept of Identity and experimenting with creating photomontages in the Makerspace.

Grade 11 students are getting a taste of the new IBDP English B curriculum this year.

Students have been developing their ability to communicate and forming an understanding of how English language works.

We encourage our Northbridge parents to maintain the mother tongue with their children at home.

This will help our multilingual children to strengthen their intellectual maturity and cognitive development.
