Message from the Principal A brief update from me this week, as I look ahead to a day of interviews at OTOS, the Nord Anglia annual recruitment event. Hiring the very best teachers is our priority and with this in mind I have been speaking with a number of highly experienced and motivated candidates to see who will join our team next year.

A brief update from me this week, as I look ahead to a day of interviews at OTOS, the Nord Anglia annual recruitment event. Hiring the very best teachers is our priority and with this in mind I have been speaking with a number of highly experienced and motivated candidates to see who will join our team next year.

I am also aware of the growing spread of the coronavirus.  The regional team for China met yesterday to plan how we as a group best manage this situation, especially at this busy time of year when many families travel for the new year celebration. There will be an update very soon, but please be assured that our school nurse, Fuyang Zhong, and our Head of Operations, Paul McCarthy, are in constant contact with the local health authorities in Chengdu to ensure we are implementing their guidelines.  Over the holiday, as usual, we will conduct a deep clean of the school.  Please watch out for further updates.
