Telling stories with Ms. Robinet!

Using buildable story cards as a prompt, our Nursery students are introduced to the concept of characters, emotions, actions, and scenes. The children can then use these independently or with others to create fun stories using pictures. 

After the cards have been pieced together, students can choose to share their story with others, recreating and describing exactly what happens. 

Our Early Years teacher, Ms. Erika Robinet, works with our young children and continually encourages them to use English to tell their stories with creativity and imagination, supporting each child according to their individual language needs. 

In this way Ms. Robinet helps children to develop their vocabulary and increase their confidence to use language to communicate. All of our Early Years teachers provide their classes with rich learning opportunities and ways for the children to express themselves in ever more challenging situations, as we prepare them for success later in our school.
