What an absolutely enchanting way to start our new school year! All Léman Families enjoyed a great Family Orientation Day on campus Friday, with a day full of exploration, bonding, and exhilaration that promised to set the stage for an exceptional year ahead.

One of the highlights of the day was our Family Scavenger Hunt, a delightful opportunity for parents, children, and educators to come together and engage in a series of fun activities which took them to our newly renovated learning spaces all around campus. All families immersed themselves in the world of learning as they took on the MIT STEAM Challenge, showcasing their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills in our brand-new STEAM center.

But that wasn’t all – they braced themselves for an enthralling theatrical experience! Many families joined our theatre teacher on stage, where they had the chance to participate in a captivating play to win extra points. Students and parent alike discovered the realm of melodies and harmonies as they met our new music teacher, Mr. Michael Wong, who has recently joined us from Malaysia. Léman musicians made their way to our Jam stage and mesmerized everyone with a piece on the drums, guitar, or piano.

The day was filled with many heartwarming moments as our whole school community raced around campus finding their family house mascot and taking a series of joyful selfies. Families were thrilled to venture to our art studio, where Ms. Bezuidenhout awaited, ready to enable them to unleash their artistic flair and create memories that would last a lifetime.we are so happy to be able have Ms. Bezuidenhout, our outstanding art teacher and Mr. Paul Traynor, our highly trained Theatre teacher to teach our primary students this year in art and theatre.

And of course, what would a day of celebration have been without a photo memento with the Principal, Head of Primary, and Head of Secondary? Mrs. Connor, Mr. Highdale, and Mr. Dolan eagerly awaited to share smiles, stories, and camaraderie with everyone.

But wait, there had been more!…..our students young and old were entertained by the lively antics of our visiting clown and indulged in the whimsical world of face painting. Families explored the diverse array of after-school activities provided by our ASA partners, who helped them uncover the plethora of options available, from boxing and fencing to Rubik's cube solving and foreign language immersion.

As the day unfolded, it became clear that this had been more than just an orientation – it had been an invitation to be part of an exceptional community, brimming with creativity, passion, and opportunities.

In the spirit of the Lèman community that was evident yesterday, we look forward to a year filled with joy, growth, and discovery as we start this journey together.
