[Sept 12 - 14] - Léman International School is delighted to announce a remarkable educational initiative that aligns perfectly with the MIT-NAE STEAM Objectives. Students from Léman International School embarked on an inspiring trip to the Volkswagen factory to gain a firsthand insight into sustainable vehicle production.

The Volkswagen Factory Trip provided Léman students with a unique opportunity to delve into the world of sustainable manufacturing. The trip was an integral part of MIT-Léman STEAM DAY, which focuses on nurturing curiosity, innovation, and sustainability among students.

During their visit to the Volkswagen factory, students had the privilege of witnessing the sustainable manufacturing process of vehicles. This hands-on experience allowed them to explore one of the MIT-NAE STEAM Objectives, which emphasizes sustainable practices in manufacturing and technology.

Mr. James Drake, the Head of STEAM at Léman International School, expressed his enthusiasm for the event: "Our students had an incredible time learning about sustainable manufacturing at the Volkswagen factory. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to see how real-world industries are actively working towards a more sustainable future."

The trip was met with immense enjoyment and enthusiasm from the students, who were captivated by the innovative and eco-friendly practices adopted by Volkswagen. This experiential learning opportunity left a lasting impression on the young minds of Léman students and aligned perfectly with the MIT-NAE STEAM Objectives' focus on sustainability.

Sustainable Manufacturing is just one of the three MIT-NAE STEAM objectives that Léman International School is actively pursuing. Watch out for how Léman students tackle the other two objectives during the school year.
