Orientation Day: A Warm Welcome to Our New Léman Families

Every new journey begins with a first.
On 14 August, Léman International School Chengdu welcomed our new students and families to campus for Orientation Day, marking the beginning of their journey as part of the Léman community.
The day provided a wonderful opportunity for families to become familiar with our campus, meet our teachers and staff, explore our learning spaces and learn more about life at Léman. From the first steps onto campus to the first conversations with teachers and the first connections with new classmates, the day was filled with meaningful moments.

A First Step into the Léman Community
For our new students, Orientation Day was their first opportunity to experience the Léman learning environment and begin imagining the year ahead. For parents, it was a chance to meet the people who will support their children throughout their educational journey and to connect with other members of our community.
These may seem like small moments, but they are the beginnings of something much bigger.
As part of our The Firsts That Matter campaign, we are celebrating these important first experiences — the first hello, the first classroom, the first friendship and the first sense of belonging.
At Léman, we believe that every student’s journey is made up of moments that matter. Each first experience can open the door to new opportunities, new relationships and new discoveries.

Ready for a New Academic Year
We would like to thank all our new families for joining us and making Orientation Day such a warm and memorable occasion. We are also grateful to our teachers and staff for their time, energy and dedication in preparing to welcome our community.
