Jigsaw PSHE scheme across the Primary School

The implementation of the new Jigsaw PSHE scheme across the Primary School has been received positively from both staff and students. Each week in assembly, we celebrate students who have gone above and beyond to show empathy. When Ms Shields collects these students from their classrooms to tell them they have been chosen, they have such big smiles on their faces.

PSHE is so important for emotional and social development and it is proving to make a difference at NAISAK. Students are beginning to understand the importance of being kind; one child even stopped someone else from being bullied! The students are already looking forward the new theme in Term 2, which is ‘Dream and Goals’. Talk to your child about what your dreams were when you were a child and what you did to make them become a reality!

Last week, Year 4 started their rehearsals for the production of ‘Dragon Days’. Children were given their roles on Monday after auditioning for different parts. Since then, they have read through the script as a year group and have now begun to act out the first couple of scenes. In class, the children have been practising the songs. Please support your child by helping them learn their lines at home over the coming weeks!
