I’m very fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute to the educational excellence at NAS Abu Dhabi, by developing the critical thinking of students and providing personalised learning and innovation.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL MOST PASSIONATELY ABOUT IN EDUCATION?

My main passion in education is creating an engaging and personalised learning environment for students. I love teaching languages because they’re like magical keys that open doors to different cultures and places.

WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR? I am grateful for my wonderful family, which has been a constant source of strength and inspiration in my life - they’ve always stood by my side. I’m also grateful for the ability to enjoy and appreciate every moment that life offers, finding fulfillment in both personal and professional experiences.

WHAT AREAS OF RESEARCH CONTINUE TO CAPTURE YOUR ATTENTION IN YOUR FIELD?

I’m interested in pedagogy and the processes of learning, which have been a constant focus for me throughout my career. My university thesis, which compared teaching methods and strategies for foreign language learning, received the highest academic recognition and further increased my passion for teaching methods.

ABOUT MARINA ERREA RODRIGUEZ, MFL TEACHER. 

Starting her educational journey in Mallorca, Spain, Marina Errea Rodríguez is an enthusiastic MFL Teacher with a bachelor's degree in primary education, and a specialisation in languages.

Her Spanish teaching experience is extensive throughout Europe, starting her journey in England, right through to Abu Dhabi. Her passion for education started to really build while she was a student – her experiences motivated her to want to positively impact progress in the education space. Marina believes that education has the power to transform lives, and she loves making learning fun and creative to ensure that all her students embark on an enjoyable educational adventure and develop a lifelong love for learning.
