Living the NAS Abu Dhabi 6Cs: Oliver’s Commitment Drives Him to International Karting

Living the NAS Abu Dhabi 6Cs: Oliver’s Commitment Drives Him to International Karting - Student Spotlight

When we talk about the 6Cs, we often talk about the long game – showing up, learning, growing and keeping sight of where you want to go. Oliver, Year 8, is a powerful example of that mindset in action. Earlier this season, we shared an insight into Oliver’s journey and his growing passion for karting. Since then, he’s taken another important step forward.

Karting isn’t just something Oliver does on race weekends. It’s a daily commitment: training when others rest, travelling across countries, learning from setbacks, and trusting the process, even when outcomes don’t go your way. Each season builds on the last, and every experience – good or tough – shapes the driver he’s becoming.

This year, Oliver raced at the highest level internationally and, more importantly, showed maturity, focus and belief in himself throughout the journey. His progress has now led to a major milestone: a contract for 2026 with the Birel Art factory team. This places him on a global stage, racing against the very best in his age group and competing in events that form part of the FIA pathway. Drivers such as Alex Albon, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, George Russell, and Logan Sargeant raced at this same level early in their careers, which gives a strong sense of the stage Oliver is now stepping onto.

That doesn’t happen overnight. Oliver understands that success isn’t one race or one result – it’s about steady growth, perspective, and staying true to why you started in the first place. As a school community, we love cheering our students on beyond the classroom.
