NISC hosts 2018 MRISA Senior Basketball Tournament It is a pleasure to host the MRISA (Mekong River International Schools Association) Senior Basketball Tournament, 2018 from 1-3 February. We are proud to belong to MRISA and feel very privileged that our students can participate in healthy competition and fair play.

It is a pleasure to host the MRISA (Mekong River International Schools Association) Senior Basketball Tournament, 2018 from 1-3 February. We are proud to belong to MRISA and feel very privileged that our students can participate in healthy competition and fair play.

This year 160 athletes will be competing as we welcome our MRISA teams from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. MRISA is always a great opportunity for students to experience a cultural exchange and make new friends as well as reconnect with friends from prior tournaments.

The tournament will allow all students to demonstrate their teamwork and love of basketball in two days of competition. However, in the spirit of MRISA it is also a time that all participants demonstrate the characteristics of a true athlete, showing respect and sportsmanship.

We hope to make this one tournament to remember. Thank you for your active participation and best of luck to all of the teams and their coaches.
