This past weekend, Saturday 14 September, Northbridge International School Cambodia held the first ISSAPP competitive swim meet of the year. The Nagas came out in full force with an excellent day of swimming.
Not only did the 15 and over swimmers win their age group, a title they have been close to winning for many meets now, but many students achieved personal bests and the Nagas had a huge number of top 3 finishes throughout the day.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, and student volunteers who made the day so successful. We look forward to seeing how the rest of the swim season goes and wish all our amazing swimmers luck.
Last week, our second annual NISC Cup kicked off, with four schools and over one hundred students facing off to see who would be taking home the silverware on offer in separate boys’ and girls’ competitions. Last year CIA girls’ team won a thrilling final and were hoping that the cup would be returning to their school for a second year in a row, while our own NISC boys’ team were hoping to retain their hard won 2023 title.
The other week I was in Bangkok at the ASAC Basketball Tournament that is open for Grade 6 – 8 students from 9 competing schools across South East Asia. It gave me some time to reflect on the benefits and opportunities that our Northbridge students can access that will develop them holistically and physically.
Here at Northbridge International School Cambodia, we have the privilege of having an amazing 25 meter undercover swimming pool on campus. The school swim program is embedded in our curriculum from EL2 to Grade 10.
