How the Global Campus program at Northbridge offers something for every single student

How the Global Campus program at Northbridge offers something for every single student The Global Campus program, unique to Nord Anglia schools like Northbridge International School Cambodia, really does have something for everyone, from our partnerships with MIT, Juilliard and UNICEF, to the Writers Corner where any budding wordsmiths can explore the Global Campus library and perhaps try their hand at some journalism.

For those of you who are more active there is also a health and wellness section where you can find weekly workouts to get you moving during our online learning. If you’re particularly competitive you can even upload your times and reps onto the boards and compete with our family of schools.

We are always trying to add new dimensions to the Global Campus here at NISC and this year is no exception. For all of the badges you earn we are teaming up with the house system and Mr Ross to award you house points. So as well as helping to improve our position in the leaderboard for NAE you also get something a little more personal to celebrate your involvement with the platform.

House Teams

Next week sees the launch of our brand new Global Campus year, and with this we bid a sad farewell to some of our team. Yun Seo Choi, Leila Escubil and Do Hyun Park have led the Global Campus from strength to strength in their roles as Ambassadors.

With the help of their trusted secretary team - Holly Lancaster, Adelric Kiang, Pich Vet and Socheata Sieng, and all the members of which there are over 30, they have led several projects with immense success. Perhaps the biggest of these was the Soap drive project where the team worked in conjunction with our sister school in Vietnam to collect bars of soap for those communities most hard hit by COVID.

Our team here at NISC collected/bought over 2000 bars of soap and other assorted sanitary products and distributed them to those most in need here in Cambodia. This project was not an easy task and involved several long days (and nights) of bagging and labelling over 600 hundred cupcakes to raise money for the project. It was worth every second and I want to officially congratulate the team on a job well done.

As we look forward to this coming year I am excited to see who it is that takes the lead of the Global Campus. We are looking forward to welcoming our new student ambassadors to the team and so goodluck to all those who apply.
