I studied Chemistry with Management at Warwick University and then went on to complete the PGCE at Kings College London University. After completing my PGCE, I taught in a state school in London and then went on to work at a private school in Berkshire.
Between working at these two schools, I had the opportunity to teach in the Abrong Ahafo region of Ghana. Learning about a different culture coupled with delivering lessons in a new environment was a positive learning experience. This led me to take the plunge and embrace the opportunity to work for BIS Abu Dhabi.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and photography. I hope to continue to build my portfolio of photographs of people and places from different parts of the world. I like to keep fit, learn about nutrition and always look forward to cooking a healthy meal! Also, I enjoy reading on a broad range of topics from Psychology to History, as well as different genre-based novels.
BIS Abu Dhabi offers a dynamic environment to work in. The cohesive international environment, it’s expansive co-curricular program and the encouragement of teaching through skill-based learning makes it a conducive atmosphere for both students to learn and for teachers to deliver.
