Since qualifying as a Drama teacher, Ms O’Connor has taught in a variety of schools in Scotland, North East England and the UAE.

Ms Cyster gained a first class honours degree in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama before embarking on postgraduate studies as a Robert MacFadzean Whyte Award Scholar at the Royal College of Music, London.
Art Teacher and Secondary Service Coordinator
Ms Funnell completed a BA (Hons) degree in Landscape Architecture at Leeds Beckett University, then gaining a PGCE in secondary education in 2006.
Ms Townsend gained her Music degree at Bath Spa University, then moved to London to complete her PGCE at Trinity College of Music.
Visual Art Teacher and Extended Essay Coordinator
Upon completion of his degree in Contemporary Fine Art with a Photography and Printmaking concentration, Mr. Mitchell gained experience working in the world of design before embarking on a PGCE specialising in teaching Visual Art in the Post Compulsory Education and Training sector.
Following completion of her PGCE, Ms Lin studied a Master’s degree in Music Therapy in Finland. Ms Lin joined BIS Abu Dhabi after having worked at a fellow Nord Anglia school, The British School of Guangzhou.
