Our students are united by one common connection - their experience of living and studying in Abu Dhabi. Having this connection makes it very easy for new students to settle in and make friends quickly. Our community consists of students from more than 90 nationalities.
Our school allows children to pursue their learning from the age of 3 through to adulthood at 18. This has important benefits:
- it allows us to track progress rigorously and over a longer period.
- It enables our students to make a better transition from Primary to Secondary.
- students that feel comfortable with their environment, friends and teachers will always find it easier to learn.
Our students will leave us well prepared for future success. We expect them to have a love for learning and to have developed into socially and intellectually confident adults who are well equipped to deal with the academic and social experiences of higher education and the workplace.
We support all our students to take full advantage of the various ‘beyond the classroom’ activities on offer so that they gain as many experiences as possible. Whether it is through outdoor activities such as wakeboarding or developing strategic skills through the school chess club, our approach is to encourage and support, rather than to limit a child’s potential.
Our approach to teaching is designed to develop skills that every person requires, and not just the ability to remember facts. Our students learn problem solving and decision making skills, and are encouraged to question the status quo through intelligent and well researched arguments.
