Art: Focusing on “Where I Live” We were very excited to hear the news that Nord Anglia Global Campus have extended the “Photographers of the Year” competition to October 30th 2017. STA Photographers have been preparing themselves by looking at their city environment.

Nord Anglia Global Campus announced last week that they were extending the deadline of their Photographers of the Year competition. Student photographers are invited to submit work on the theme of “Where I Live”, by Monday 30th October 2017.

Focusing on waste reduction and recycling, this competition is responding to the UNICEF Global Goals. Students are asked to take photographs around their environment that show activities related to litter, waste, recycling or pollution. To enter students should go to Moodle and click on the Global Campus icon. They follow the COMPETITIONS tab to “Photographers of the Year” and will be asked to complete and submit a short questionnaire, after which they are able to access all the necessary information about how to submit photographs for the competition. For more information and advice contact tim.wi@standrews.ac.th. Here are some creative responses to the theme, by students in Year 10, who are studying GCSE Photography.
