High School: Three weeks until Christmas... With Christmas just around the corner see what’s in plan for our High School students. A new Christmas lunch menu and Christmas Fair are some of the many festivities to look forward to. Also, please have a look at the rest of this Terms 1 calendar, full of important parents’ evenings, subject option presentations and events.

With Christmas just around the corner, see what’s in the plan for our High School students. A new Christmas lunch menu and Christmas Fair are some of the many festivities to look forward to. 

It was great to see so many students and teachers dressed up in their Thai finery and participating in Friday’s Loy Krathong celebrations. 

The Christmas tree in the background of the photos above shows that we are also building up towards our Christmas celebrations at the end of term, with different events happening on each of the last three days of term.

As you can see, we will have a special Christmas menu in the Canteen on the Wednesday, followed by our annual Christmas Fair on the Thursday before the grand finale of the term, STA presents… "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas", A selection box of Music, Dance and Drama, which will be livestreamed to Tutor Groups around the school, students on the VSE and families all over Bangkok and around the world.

We will share more details of each of these events as they get closer.

Before that we have both our Tryout Weeks - see the High School PE & Sport section for more details - and Parent/Student/Teacher Meetings for Years 10 and then Years 7-9 this week and next week.

It was great to have over 900 students back in school this morning, and to see how few of them had forgotten to register their negative ATK test on Moodle before arriving at School.

The students were all reminded of this again on Friday, when they each received seven more ATK tests - enough for the rest of this term and the first day of Term 2 - and also reminded that they should always have a photograph of their named and dated test, as in Mr Andrew’s example below.
