As our first season of Léman sports comes to a close, we still have lots of exciting news to share with you.

On Tuesday, we hosted the CISA U19 Volleyball tournament in our gym. With incredible support from our students, parents and staff, the gym was a rocking environment! Our LFA helped keep everyone energetic with a delicious bake sale that was extremely popular. The tremendous atmosphere inspired our athletes to put their best performances out on the court. A day of exciting matches brought us to the Finals against our friendly rivals from CDIS. Although, they did get the best of us, these tense matches were a great way to get prepared for our ACAMIS tournaments.

This year, ACAMIS volleyball is being held in Beijing. Thursday we got up bright and early to catch our flights and make the trip up North. The travel was smooth and we were able to get to our hotel and then the school in time for a good lunch and time to focus in on our matches. Both teams emerged victorious with very strong performances. Friday will see us play three more matches, leading in to the elimination matches on Saturday.

We are looking forward to a great few days of volleyball and are planning to bring back some trophies for our Red Pandas!
