Project Week Trips

This post provides you with information regarding Project Week Trips for Years 7-11, for the 2016/17 academic year. These projects will all take place at the same time next academic year, during the last week of the Autumn Term 1. Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will depart on Sunday 16th October 2016, Year 7 will depart on Monday 17th October, and all trips will return to Houston on Thursday 20th October, with the last day of the Autumn 1 term being Friday 21st October, when you will be invited into school to share your child’s experiences and learning.

We are trialing a new way to provide parents with information, as we understand that the logistics of coming to the school campus during the day, or early evening, can be inconvenient for many parents, particularly if you have children in several year groups.

Following on from this, on Monday 18th April, from 8.30am, we will welcome into school Joe Moore, CEO of Appleseed Expeditions, our student travel partner, for a Q&A session with parents who may have further questions about the activities and service partnerships for (next year’s year groups) Years 7, 8 and 9 between 8.30am and 9.30am. We will then welcome parents of students in Years 10 and 11 from 9.30am-10.30am.

Shortly after this, enrolment will open for each Project Week, you will receive all of the details regarding the enrolment process and payment options. During the Autumn Term 1, each Head of Year will hold a trip information meeting, where more specific information will be provided, such as flight and accommodation details, packing lists etc.
