BISH Celebrates International Day 2018

BISH Celebrates International Day 2018 Celebrating a global experience. We believe that a global education will benefit your child while they are at school, and importantly, in their later life. International Day is one of the most important events in our calendar at The British International School of Houston. It is a time when we celebrate the diversity of our community and all come together in one celebration of our shared humanity.

We are so proud of our awesome PTSA and parent community.  A heartfelt thank you for another outstanding International Day at BISH celebrating over 76 nationalities.

BISH was bursting with color, textures, tastes, music and performances including a flag parade, Beat of the Bulldog, Pipa performance from Year 2 student Qinlong, our Community Choir - Voices of BISH, Accents Choir, BISH Beats, Scotland's PiperGun, specutualar performances from India, the Netherlands, Colombia & Ecaudor, China, Year 7 Bollywood, Call & Response,  Year 1 & 2 Tempo Choir, Half Notes Choir Years 3 & 4 and a wonderful performance of Hello to all the children around the world. Students visited over 45 country booths to get a taste of local delicacies and participated in learning activities.

What a great celebration of our diverse community.  A proud day for BISH!
