2020 Graduate Lily

Three Gold Keys Awarded to BIS Houston Class of 2020 Graduate Lily

After many weeks of creating, crafting, editing and revising, Lily submitted her entries in the new year and the news of her wonderful achievement has now been made public with the prize-giving. We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Lily! Our very talented Alum has been awarded not just one placement, but three Gold Keys and one Silver Key for her pieces: Like Clay; Ink Dry; An Elegy for the Kin-merican Anatomy and The Essence of an Intellectual.

 

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. The Awards give students opportunities for recognition, exhibition, publication and scholarships. Students across America entered nearly 320,000 original works in 2020 in 29 different categories of art and writing.
