DAY 1
The signals for phones/email are not brilliant so please do not worry if contact with your child is somewhat erratic. You can be sure that:
1. they are busy and having fun ….and…..
2. no news is good news!

Good evening from Green Camp!
Just dropping you a note to say all is well here at Camp Serwy. While the rain slowed us down a little this morning, once we arrived at camp it's been go,go,go..
A full afternoon of activities was undertaken by all and the rain was replaced by sunny weather in the early afternoon - even the late water for the swim test was warm!
Just a reminder that while most students have their phones with them the cell reception here is not the best and that we have for safety and security reasons asked the students leave their phones in their rooms between 8.30am and 6pm - you may send a text in the morning and not get a reply until late into the afternoon.
We will do our best to keep you updated with an email once a day - and hopefully the occasional photo too.
Cheers!
Matt Lennon

DAY 2
Year 6 & 7
The weather is picking up and the lake is beautiful. We are all having a great time and getting pretty wet as we ‘explore’ the lake – some of us are more skilled than others in water sports and are getting a good dunking! However, there’s plenty to keep us busy and we are enjoying ourselves tremendously.
Year 6’s head home this evening. The children will keep you up to date with their arrival time.

DAY 3
Year 8 & 9
Just a quick note from Camp Serwy where things are going well. The weather is getting warmer and the order of the day is lots of water, hats and plenty of sunscreen. All the activities are going down great with the students who are really committed to trying all of the different things on their schedule.
I have already witnessed some wonderful accomplishments where students have overcome their reservations to do things they never thought was possible - this is what makes this type of learning so great; as the supportive nature of their friends allows students to thrive and learn from the concept of challenge.
The week is flying by and it's amazing to think that today is already Wednesday and in just two days we will be back in school. Tonight we have our camp bonfire which I know the students are really looking forward too!
Another short note tomorrow but for now, I'm off to the water to get involved in a sailing session.

DAY 4
Just a short note from Serwy. Another super day was had by all yesterday as our students climbed, sailed and biked their way around the lake.
Last night was a special evening as the camp fire with sausages, marshmallow and singing brought the whole group together for a warm and fuzzy end to the day.
This morning it water sports galore!!

DAY 5
A final note from Camp Serwy. We finished the week with a great final morning with activities of choice, followed by lunch and our 'fun' awards - funny awards for things that children had done throughout the week.
We were having so much fun that we left eventually at 12.45 a little later than planned. We are due at school now at approximately 5.45 pm - traffic being good!!!
I will remind students to keep you informed of our arrival and we look forward to seeing you all at school.
See you then!
