30 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

HISTORY AND HERITAGE

The British School Warsaw was established in 1992 by Iwona Thomas and was the very first private school in the Nord Anglia family. After opening its doors to 35 students, whose parents wished for them to follow an English curriculum, 30 years later TBS Warsaw is a thriving community of 1,100 students. We’ve also been an IB-accredited school for over 20 years.

 

Since day one, we’ve been dedicated to nurturing students to become ambitious, empowered and successful leaders. They leave The British School Warsaw happy and confident in pursuing their interests and passions in life—a mantra they continue long after they walk out the classroom door for the final time.

My husband, David, came to Poland to set up a branch of a multinational company in Warsaw. At the time, our daughter was two and a half and we were concerned about her education: there was no English - speaking British school in Warsaw
