We understand that parents’ views on our school’s strengths and weaknesses and your aspirations for the future are of significant importance. This year, therefore we are building on the success of Parent Forums of previous years and providing you with the opportunity to air your views and collaborate with us more conveniently and more regularly in order to improve and enhance the educational & holistic provision which we offer.
Before half term, I invited parents to volunteer to become Parent Voice representatives for a year group and I am delighted to let you know that we have had willing volunteers come forward for most year groups. We have already met as a group and are now ready to receive your feedback. I would like to thank those parents who have come forward to be part of this initiative by being a Parent Voice Representative.
Shortly, you will be receiving a letter detailing the specifics of how Parent Voice will work and how to contact the representatives. You can also find more information on Firefly under -Resources/Secondary/Parent Voice.
We look forward to receiving your feedback ready for our first meeting in the New Year and would encourage you to be honest, succinct and objective. Please remember that any student-specific issues should always be raised through either the Form Tutor or subject teacher; Parent Voice is for issues which affect a whole year group or the whole school.
