Venus are primed and ready!

This week in Venus we have been learning about different Mathematical concepts using a hands on experience.

  • Year 5 Venus
  • Venus Year 5
  • Primed and Ready
  • Pyramid

We began the week looking at prime numbers and even prime factorisation, as you can see in the photos, the children were able to use multi-link cubes to express each number up to 20, if there was one cube it was a prime number.

We also moved onto looking at square and cube numbers, the photo you can see of our magnificent pyramid, is the work of the children using more multi-link cubes to find the square of each number from 1-12.
