As a group of Pre IB and IB students worked with Primary students in making Christmas ornaments and decorating our “Student tree.”

Everyone had a lot of fun working together, and for several IB students it has been many years since they have cut or coloured much, not to mention use a lot of glitter, but when paired with the Primary students, magic was truly happening. In the end our tree has been decorated and is a beautiful representation of how the school can come together and support each other across different educational levels. The Pre-IB and IB students thoroughly enjoyed interacting with and making new friends with the Primary students. A great rendition of “O Christmas Tree” finalized our celebration as the tree lights were turned on and the full magnificence of the children’s collaboration was revealed.

Students then began singing other Christmas carols, not wanting to leave. I am sure that this is a great beginning where Primary, Pre-IB and IB students will continue to come together working towards a common goal.
