On the 22nd September I went to “Władysław Jagiełło High School” to watch a TEDx youth event. There were 8 speakers and more than 10 organizers.
All the speakers had different occupations. There was a Psychologist, Youtuber, Writer, IB coordinator and a Traveler and they all talked about different topics. Topics included:
“Its okay not to be okay”, “How to appeal to history”, “How I became a chart freak” and “być albo nie być”- to be or not to be. Most speakers gave their speech in english, but there were also 3 polish speakers.
The TEDx event was a nice event with a structured program and it was nice to see the team cooperating together (team- TEDx Jagiellonka speakers and organizers). The part which surprised me the most was how a student decided to do this event and organize the whole event. It made me think we (TBS TEDx students) have a possibility to organize a wonderful event like this.
Lastly, I was impressed by how different people “spread ideas” in different ways (different jobs, languages, topics and more) by only one theme “Let Me Tell You YOUR Story”.
This event gave me inspirations and motivations for the TEDxYouth TBS Warsaw event.
