Year 2 children started the countdown to the holidays on a high note last Friday!

We finished the penultimate week of this half term with our Super Humans or rather Super Heroes EXIT POINT.

Mums and Dads as well as some of our friends in Primary School were invited to visit our gadget exhibition at the end of the day on Friday.

It was so much fun planning, designing and then finally making Super Sensory gadgets! Each and every one of them enhances one or more of our five senses. The senses played a very big part in our Super Humans topic this half term and this was obvious from the wonderful gadgets on display and in use.

Everything from special gloves to improve touch, weird and wonderful extra eyes or camera equipment to improve sight, hearing aids for our ears, tasting straws and built-in bottles for taste and special nasal masks to improve our olfactory sense were all part of the showcase event on 11th!

Well done Year 2 - may the force be with you!!!
