These presentations are done with the invaluable help and input from our PTA and revolve around a series of topics which parents have told us are of particular interest to them. This year we are focusing on trying to reach out to all of you as parents by offering two presentation slots, one in the morning and then again in the evening. This, we hope, will allow for more parents to come along.
Our strategy certainly seemed to work this week as Mr Bezodis and Ms Byrne welcomed our largest ever group of parents for the morning session of ‘The Secondary Curriculum Explained’. We understand that, as an international community, many of our parents are just getting to grips with a new curriculum having been used to another system quite possibly in another country and therefore these presentations are one way for us to further explain how things work at TBS.
On another note, our teachers have been delighted at the professionalism, efficiency and speed with which the new photography company managed the individual and tutor group photographs; this meant that classes were quickly resumed and there was little disruption to the school day.
Have a wonderful weekend,
