All About Love

Not on Valentine's Day but on 15th February, just before we broke up for half term, Reception and Year 1 children were treated to an assembly all about love!

They learned about the true story of St Valentine and a song called, "One, Two, I like you" which they had to perform with a partner. The best part of the assembly, however, was when it was almost over and they were told that each and every one of them had a special thought written for them by their teacher on a loveheart, no less. The children had to find these thoughtful hearts in their lockers and then read them with the help of their friends or teachers.

Every heart had a special message printed for the individual child. We believe at Dabrowskiego that the IPC goal of THOUGHTFULNESS is also important for the teachers to practice! Enjoy the photos of the children engrossed in finding and reading their love-ly messages and we hope they have shared them with you at home!
